Back to ‘95, three old friends decided to start a heavy metal band. They wanted to show what they could do.
With bands like Manowar, Iron Maiden, Dio as reference, they created a new band called Horus (an ancient Egyptian deity). Following those bands, the songs included epic and social criticism lyrics.
Horus standed out in Gigs, doing many shows in Madrid. The gigs were loaded with full energy and passion.
Years after, the band was dissolved.
Many years after the dissolution, the band meets again to record an LP with some of the songs that marked the scene years ago. Then this album was born, recorded with passion and love to Horus.
Ignacio Torrecillas (Tat Satie): [Composer/Singer/Rhythm guitar/Bass]. Currently the only one who continues in music. He passed through many bands since Horus. Different styles to enrich his music background. Nowadays he is working in his own personal project with Tat Satie (
tatsatie.com), an intimate project that you should listen.
Gabriel Torres: [Drums/percussion]. Known as Gabi, started his career as a sportsman. Different disciplines involve Gabriel’s career: riding horses, climbing, skiing (the main one) and recently scuba diving. A restless guy who won't stop traveling. He has assisted to Tat Satie’s album with percussions and support.
Hugo Sanchez: [Lead guitar]. Hugo is still playing guitar but more as a personal objective than a professional one. Combined with the passion for photography and computers, these are the three things surrounding his live. Computer and electronics passion won as primary focus in his life. Now is working in a telecommunications company. In music, he has calmed down and now listens and plays country and rock.
